Manhattan Sky, Midtown Hotspot
Cocktails With a Dash of Midtown Cityscape New York, NY (March 27, 2003) - Manhattan Sky Bar and Restaurant, the newest spot in Midtown to enjoy a cocktail, has opened. Manhattan Sky is located in the Grand Hyatt New York, and from tables along the glass walls that overlook 42nd Street and intersecting Lexington Avenue, patrons enjoy a bird's-eye view of the comings and goings below. Meanwhile, interior glass walls look down on the hotel's lobby activity. A glass atrium roof adds to the feeling of being in a cafe floating in air.

"Manhattan Sky overlooks one of the most exciting streets in the world. Here in the heart of Midtown we've created the best possible sidewalk cafe. It's year-round people watching without any street noise," said Gary Dollens, Vice President and Managing Director of the Grand Hyatt New York.

Appropriately, the most popular drink is the signature Manhattan Sky. Made with Hpnotiq, Absolut Citron and a splash of Blue Curacao, this layered blue libation is served in a martini glass with a lemon twist and looks as good as it tastes. The Watermelon, a mix of Absolut Kurant and Watermelon Pucker is another favorite. An assortment of martinis, saketinis, wines and draft beers may be enjoyed at tables or at the granite-topped bar, which is partially enclosed by floor-to-ceiling sheers.

Cocktails are served Monday-Saturday from 11:30am-1am, and from noon to 1am on Sundays. A light fare menu is offered from 3pm-11pm daily.

Breakfast is available from 6:30am until 11am Monday-Friday and on weekends from 6:30am until noon. An a-la-carte lunch menu is served Monday-Friday from 11:15am until 2:30pm and on weekends from noon until 2:30pm. Table seating is available for 140, and additional seating is provided at the bar.

Regency Club®, the concierge club level created by Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 1975 to provide the ultimate in personal service, is a popular choice of Grand Hyatt New York's guests, appealing to both the discriminating international and domestic traveler.

Located on the 31st floor, Grand Hyatt New York's Regency Club® accommodations are only accessible with a special elevator pass key. For a $50 surcharge, guests may upgrade to the club floor. Hyatt Gold Passport members who have achieved elevated status are also given access. A concierge is stationed at the Regency Club® Lounge on the 31st floor to cater to every guest's need.

The Club Lounge provides complimentary continental breakfast, afternoon tea and pastries, and evening hors d'oeuvres and cordials.
