The 1,600-square-foot
(150-square-metre) fitness
centre on the third floor is
decorated in hand-painted
murals and Italian marble. It
provides complimentary

cardiovascular equipment and
free weights, as well as a
private massage therapy room.
Lifecycles, Stairmasters and
treadmills are equipped with
individual stereos and
TV/VCRs. Men's and ladies'
shower facilities are
provided. Guests can arrange

The Cafe Pierre has an
elegant European ambience and
provides impeccable service with
great attention to detail.
Decorated in tones of pale
yellow, green and gold, the Cafe
Pierre has been embellished with
Italian gray marble inlaid with
bronze doree, etched Italian
mirrors, imported silks and
satins, and trompe l'oeil wall
and ceiling murals. The
award-winning, continental
cuisine is served daily for
breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The uncrowded, romantic
atmosphere is perfect for a
leisurely dinner or late night
supper, and includes nightly
piano entertainment. The
after-theatre crowd can gather
in the bar to sip champagne or
classic martinis. Local
residents as well as hotel
guests frequent the Sunday
Brunch. Seating capacity 60.
Specialties: The Cafe
features a light, modern
approach to classical cuisine.
An extensive wine list of
vintage French, California and
Italian wines, and champagne can
be ordered by the glass. The
prix fixe pre-theatre dinner is
a popular choice for local
residents as well as hotel
guests.
Accommodating the
health-conscious patron, the
Cafe offers an inspired
collection of nutritionally
balanced healthier fare on its
lunch and dinner menus. A
Japanese breakfast and a
children's menu are both
available.
The Rotunda
The Rotunda is often referred to
as the signature room of The
Pierre and is known for its
trompe l'oeil murals, which are
the work of American artist
Edward Melcarth.
Specialties: Breakfast,
lunch, dinner and an evening bar
menu are offered. However, the
main attraction is The Rotunda
Tea, a traditional English
afternoon tea. The Rotunda
offers child-friendly menu
items.
Lounges: Cafe
Pierre Bar
Conveniently located at the
corner of 5th Avenue and 61st
Street, across from New York's
Central Park. The Cafe Pierre
Bar is our relaxed and elegant
lounge, offering hors d'oeuvres
and snacks. Piano entertainment
is featured Sunday to Thursday
from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm, and
Friday and Saturday from 8:30 pm
to 12:00 midnight. Seats 36.
