The Round Table Room

lunches, the newly restored
restaurant evokes memories of
a grand parlor. The room’s
velvet chairs and antique
tables set the stage for a
lovely meal, and its premier
location makes it a perfect
choice for pre- or
post-theatre dining.

an all day menu 7 a.m. –
10:30 p.m., (Friday and
Saturday 11:30 a.m.). Brunch
is served on Sundays 12 p.m. -

This popular New York bar is
decorated with the artwork of
longtime Algonquin regular Al
Hirschfeld. The pieces, donated
by The Margo Feiden Galleries,
feature Broadway shows past and
present, including Rent, The
Sound of Music and Chicago.
The menu offers pub fare and
a fine selection of wine,
cocktails and domestic and
imported beer. The Blue Bar is
open daily from 11:30 a.m. until
1:30 a.m.
Lobby
The restored Algonquin
lobby, with its writing desks
and antique furniture in deep
jewel tones, still retains the
charm and ambiance long
associated with this landmark
hotel. Intimate arrangements of
settees and chairs create the
perfect environment for reading,
writing, quiet contemplation or
conversation. As a result, the
Algonquin retains its position
as a welcome oasis of civility
amid the hectic pace of New
York. Serves cocktails and
lighter fare from the Algonquin’s
appetizer and snack menu.
